Rapper Logic has shared details about his complicated relationship with his mother in a recent interview on The Adam Friedland Show. Logic revealed that he hasn’t seen his mother in over a decade, citing her mental health struggles as a factor in their estrangement.
According to Logic, one of their last encounters was traumatic, with his mother being “covered in blood and naked and screaming” when he was around 17 or 18 years old. He also referenced a song from 2012, “Dear God,” where he described an alleged incident from his childhood in which his mother attempted to harm him.
Logic has also spoken publicly about his complicated relationship with his father, who struggled with crack addiction. In a podcast interview last year, Logic confronted his father about the pain he experienced as a child due to his father’s absence.
The rapper’s candid discussions about his family dynamics have shed light on the challenges he has faced and how they have shaped his life and music.
